Cone, the American brand marketing company, has launched a Cause Branding service for Nonprofits. Combined with their announcement of this they have come up with the figure of 76% for the proportion of ‘philanthropic consumers’ who believe that word of mouth is one of the most effective ways for nonprofits to reach them.
